wizzards & santa

SNOW...SNOW...SNOW...We have been snowed in since Tuesday.  I have a confession... I have eaten everything but the kitchen sink.  Being snowed in brings on some good conversation with my AddyCat.  Shall we?

Sitting on the couch watching the Disney channel and Selena Gomez (not sure if I butchered her name) comes on a commercial.  My BIG MOUTH told Ad that she is dating Justin Bieber.  We all know that I have Beiber Fever.  Yep, me and Ad have a crush on the same boy.  *GAG*  She without missing a beat said "nope, she is a wizzard.  Wizzards can only date wizzards".  Remember, I am in a food coma.  I don't realize that this has taken a turn for the worst.  She obviously believes that the show Wizzards of Waverly Place is REAL!  I slowly turn my head to find her jaw on the floor and her big grey eyes filled with disappointment. 
I really wish life had a rewind button.  Here is to the next hour of my life explaining that the show is not real.  She was crying.  I was crying.  yes, me!  I am totally upset that JB is dating her.  I just don't get it.  What does he see in her.  She is just aweteous (pronounced awe*shish) thats all.  That is awesome & righteous put together.  Yay, me for Disney lingo.
I was having flash forwards instead of flash backs.  Totally just pulled that from my rear.  She is 7.  When do kids start spreading the gossip about how Santa is not real?  The little voice in my head told me to just throw it out there that Santa... well, you know.  Maybe she will hear it.  Maybe it won't be as upsetting as JB and SG.  Don't worry, I would never do that.  I can only imagine what that day will bring.  Although, I still BELIEVE.  I believe in filling my own stocking.  I believe in faries.  Actually fairy dust.  That is the stuff in the TV... shelves... pictures.  You get my point.
I guess if someone opened their BIG MOUTH and told me that it's not FAIRY dust, just dust then I would be devistated too.  I will think before I speak Disney to Ad again.  I am known to cure all oooopsies with ice-cream.  What better than snow ice-cream?  All is forgiven... until SANTA!
